Female police to protect Boko Haram Victims in Nigeria

Nigerian police in the north eastern state of Borno declared that they will be deploying 100 female officers to camps with victims of Boko Haram’s insurgency.
Female officers have been assigned the duties to ensure the protection of women at the camps.
This decision is a result of the several allegations made against the security officers for sexually abusing the women.
