Nigeria has a contribution of 75-80 per cent from the agricultural sector and that from women. Women in agribusiness will receive the lowest funding in their business. In the budget, the government has allocated N416 million to women for their agribusiness. It is believed that women in agriculture are the major food producers in the agriculture sector. Usually, women are solely associated with agricultural export crops such as cocoa, rubber, cotton. However, they are also engaged in the production of food crops such as maize, pepper, cassava, and vegetables.
