CAR minister showed ‘inequality crisis’ in virus testing

The Health Minister of Central African Republic has shown an “Inequality crisis” in coronavirus testing as he watches other rich countries conduct hundreds of thousands of tests daily and his own is struggling to have supplies for a couple of hundred at most. On Thursday Pierre Somse told the World Health Organisation (WHO) that they are in misery as the pandemic’s first wave hits the continent of 1.3 billion people.

Somse told that his country is waiting for the supplies that they ordered via WHO. he said that the delay is due to the Global Competition. CAR has confirmed 4300 cases of corona positive.
