DR Congo’s club TP Mazembe wins CAF Confederation cup.

TP Mazembe won the CAF Confederation Cup by beating the Algerian club MO Bejaia by 4-1 on Sunday.

TP Mazembe have won the Confederation cup for the first time, adding it to their list of continental trophies.

The DRC club had come by a draw with Algeria in the first leg of the final week and they opened the score seven minutes into the game, maintaining their dominance to win 5-2 on aggregate

TP Mazembe will now compete with South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns who won this year’s Champions League at the African Super Cup in February 2017.
