Egypt prosecution seeks arrest of nine in alleged Hotel Rape Case

Nine men are accused of gang-raping a woman in a luxury hotel of Cairo, Egypt. 7 men including have fled out of the country. This incident happened 6 years ago. These allegations came across online in July only. Egypt’s prosecution is determining the arrest of the accused ones. The prosecution is taking legal steps to arrest the criminals. The hotel’s name is  Fairmont Nile City Hotel and the incident happened in 2014. 

The prosecution said on Monday that 7 men have flown out of the country and they are trying to track down the other two. One of them had allegedly been accused in a similar rape case. They have not been identified yet. They were on the airport watch list. The evidence should not be shared with anyone as it will jeopardize the investigation.
