Yahya Jammeh, the Gambian leader says he will launch a legal challenge to contest an election defeat which he doesn’t agree with. This defeat will bring an end to his 22 year rule. President Jammeh initially yielded to the results and had promised to support his rival Adama Barrow last week. But then, he backtracked on Friday, saying he ‘totally’ rejected the result. The United Nations Security Council has demanded that he should accept his defeat.
