There has been a deadly attack carried out in a hotel of Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu on Sunday. 17 people killed and many others wounded in the attack by guns and bombs. There was a battle between al-Shabab fighters and security forces for more than 3 hours. The battle started with a suicide car bombing as told by the sources.
Out of the 12 victims in the accident, 2 were government employees, 3 were hotel security forces, 4 local citizens and the rest are not identified yet. After the suicide bombing, the gunmen ran inside the building and took young men and women who were dining there as hostages.
