Back at home, Delhi is gearing up to welcome athletes and followers to the Commonwealth Games in October this year. South Africa magnificently hosted the 19th FIFA World Cup taking even the minutest of aspects into consideration. This fact is being appreciated by countries all over the world. The tourism sector in a major part of the continent has experienced a boost as a result of the same. Honourable Presidents from the state of Seychelles and South Africa visited India in the month of June, report of which you can find in this issue. Besides this, CII organized Regional Conclave in Ghana and Burkina Faso. Concurrently, FICCI’s preparations for the next ‘Namaskar Africa’ in Nairobi, Kenya are energetically going on. These organizations have always been playing a commendable role in bringing Africa and India closer.
