WHAT ARE THE MAJOR CHALLENGES IN BUILDING SECURED SOCIETY IN THE ADVENT OF TECHNOLOGY?
Technology as a model has long embraced and evolved from convergence, automation, intelligence and now actionability. Security, unfortunately, comes at last. In the 21st century, technology is reaching out to the last leg of society to connect the seven billion unconnected population along with trillions of devices from various fronts such as consumer electronics, enterprise services and governance. Ensuring privacy, control, quality and security at that scale is a great challenge in the modern technology-led world.
WHAT ARE THE NEW INITIATIVES OF THE GLOBAL CYBER SECURITY FORUM?
GCS Forum has recently entered into an MOU with Kenes, Israel to host some of the world’s leading cyber-security experts for discussing the pressing needs of information security and planning strategic roadmap to address the future challenges. In addition, we are also setting up Special Interest Group (SIG) with the world’s top security researchers and engineers to identify the root causes and provide advanced threat intelligence.
GCS Forum has also initiated a community awareness programme, where our volunteers will conduct security awareness sessions at leading private and public schools across the world.
