Nigeria: Activecode Business Hub targets 100, 000 jobs for post-COVID-19

Active code Business Hub has promised to offer over 100, 000 new jobs between now and December. This is being done as part of efforts to reduce unemployment and other challenges arising from the Coronavirus pandemic. Dr. Theophilus Ogumbe, Managing Director of the firm said that Africa and Nigeria could reduce unemployment and fight poverty, if potentials in the foreign exchange market, blockchain technology and Information Communication Technology (ICT) are fully explored.

He was optimistic that, with knowledge transfer to Nigerians and opportunities in the market, unemployment would be dealt with. The Director, Branding and Marketing, Kelvin Akparanta said foreign exchange market and digital marketing with ICT still remain largely unexplored in Nigeria.
