Nigeria: Buhari Gets Niger Republic’s Highest Award!

President of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou presented President Muhammadu Buhari with the highest national award on Tuesday of Niger Republic i.e., Grand Croix Des Ordre National Du Niger

President Issoufou of Niger Republic won the prestigious 2020 Mo Ibrahim prize, for the completion of his second tenure. President Buhari congratulated him for his win and also  described him as a worthy African leader.

President Issoufou, visited Buhari at the State House, Abuja, out of courtesy and thanked him. Also all the  Nigerians for the support he received as leader of his country for 10 years. He highlighted the time when he was the Chairman of ECOWAS, and called Nigeria as a “second home”.

He expressed his gratitude to President Buhari that this highest national award of his country has been presented to President Buhari because of his “fraternity, vigour, patriotism and determination to move Africa forward, starting from the West Coast”.
