The government is functioning hard to bring the approved vaccines to fight Covid19, stated by the officials of Nigeria. Olorunnimbe Mamora, the Minister of State for Health, has warned Nigerians about the vaccine. He said that in order of containing the COVID-19 pandemic the vaccines might not arrive within the country soon. He said this at the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 briefing. It happened on Thursday.
Represented by the Director, Hospital Services, Federal Ministry of Health, Adebimpe Adebiyi, he said the government is functioning hard to urge the approved vaccines to fight the virus. “We are working very hard to urge vaccines for our people. It may not come in time, therefore we’d like to be alive to urge the vaccines once they come,” he said. He said this is often to underscore the importance of compliance with non-pharmaceutical measures as advised to scale back transmissibility of the virus.
