Nigeria: FCTA seals Jabi Lake Mall for hosting Naira Marley concert

Jabi Lake Mall, in Nigeria, hosted a concert for the famous Nigerian singer Naira Marley on June 12. He performed with the preventive measures taken by the Nigerian Government to control the spread of Covid-19. Sam Iwu, CEO of the company apologized for flying Marley despite the controversial situation.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) took action against Naira Marley and sealed the Jabi Lake mall for violating COVID-19 restriction orders on Sunday. He was accused of violating the rules such as the ban on public gatherings, the curfew timings which was from 10 pm to 4 am. According to the magistrate, the area will be sealed for two weeks.
