The Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (PPMC) which is a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has informed on Wednesday that the petrol pump prices have been increased. They informed the depot owners. This is the third time in three months that the pump price of petrol increased to N151.56 per litre, from N148. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) said it was yet to get the official directive from the government on the new price.
Ibadan Depot D.O Abalaka, PPMC Lead Sales agency said in a statement that please be informed that a new product price adjustment has been effected on our payment platform. Now the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) is now one hundred and fifty-one naira, fifty-six kobo (N151.56k) per litre.This takes effect from September 2, 2020.
