Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is the new face of Boots No7 beauty range

Securing the position of one of the most influential African women in the world, Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is the new face of Boots No7 beauty range.

Adichie has previously talked about her love for make-up, “I love make-up and its wonderful possibilities for temporary transformation. “And I also love my face after I wash it all off,” she said in a statement published in British Vogue.

Adichie has always been bold and upfront with her views on the beauty industry. She had earlier admitted to carrying her own foundation with her, in case makeup artist doesn’t have her shade.

Her quotes have been very famous, appearing on catwalk at Paris Fashion week, songs and not to forget to mention the famous “ We should all be feminists” in Beyonce’s single, Flawless.

“The Thing Around Your Neck”, a short story written by her is being adapted by Ghanaian filmmaker Akosua Adoma Owusu. Also the third book written by her is being made into a film.
