THE TIMES OF AFRICA, on the occasion of 3rd India Africa Forum Summit produced a special supplement on Kenya. It is the most industrialized country in East and Central Africa. Kenya is East Africa’s industrial nerve-centre. Most business is in private hands, with foreign investment endorsing the agricultural and mining sectors. The main export partners for Kenya include the rest of the East African region as well as the UK, the Netherlands and the US. Main import partners include China, India, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and South Africa. This country has demonstrated its strength in diverse sectors viz. infrastructure, agriculture, building and construction, energy and manufacturing and offer enormous business opportunities in these sectors. In comparison to its neighbors, Kenya has a well-developed social and physical infrastructure.
