President of Malawi opens ‘suggestion box’ to help solve national issues

Peter Mutharika, the Malawian President, has placed a suggestion box at the door of the chief secretary to government. The purpose of this is to seek solutions from citizens on how to overcome the country’s challenges. President’s Mutharika’s appeal for solutions was conveyed in his national address on Monday according to a news portal.

The President also said that he would organize a meeting to discuss the ideas that would gather. The chairperson for Malawi’s Public Affairs Committee (PAC) told the local media networks that the government was not accommodating of their resolutions made in February this year, as part of efforts aimed at mitigating Malawi’s challenges.
