As stated by the Federal Ministry of Education, the Edo government has stated that the state secondary schools will not reopen by 4 August 2020, but on Monday, 10 August 2020 for graduate students.
Commissioner for Education, Hon, in a statement. Jimoh Ijegbai, who has enrolled in SS3 for the Western Africa Senior Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and schools for the NECO Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has said only Senior Secondary School students will reopen on Monday 10 August 2020.
“It is to inform the public in general, especially parents, pupils, principals, private and public secondary school owners in Edo State that schools will not resume on 4 August 2020, as the Federal Ministry of Education has stated.”
