Review Stance on Government: Tunisia’s Ennahdha Party

Spread the news

Tunisia’s biggest party in the parliament, Ennahda has decided to reevaluate its stance to support the country’s fractured coalition over a conflict of interest including PM Elyes Fakhfakh government. Ennahda gave a statement on Sunday that the conflict has already harmed the reputation of the coalition of government and requires a revised position of their party.

They gave no hints about how to take action against this matter but according to sources may be the withdrawal of its 7 ministers can be an option. The party’s statement will create a pressure on the coalition which was formed in February and held elections in September last year which in turn formed a fragile government.
