Cyril Ramaphosa, President of S. Africa has immediately passed orders to ban the sales and distribution of alcohol as the number of corona cases takes a hike. In June, the sale of alcohols was resumed but then this hike was observed by hospitals and warned the government that they do not have enough beds for corona patients and even have to turn away them.
S. Africa has also restored the night-time curfew to reduce traffic accidents and made people wear masks publicly. On Sunday, Ramaphosa warned the public that health officials alerted about the shortage of beds and oxygen to treat the patients.
