South Africa’s corona cases reached more than half a million

South Africa’s health ministry has announced that the country has reached half a million corona cases and Africa the whole continent has crossed 1 million cases. The country has recorded 10,107 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, and touching total to 503,290, the ministry said on Saturday. South Africa had established the lockdown in late March but now have loosened some ends as to make up their economy. The country is facing a hunger and employment crisis. 

Due to the ease in lockdown, the infection made a hike in cases from the last 2 months. According to sources, Africa has 934,558 cases, 19,752 deaths and 585,567 recoveries so far.
