A resolution was adopted by the United Nations Security Council(UNSC) on Friday regarding arms embargo and travel restrictions in South Sudan until May next year. There will also be financial sanctions for some particular targets.
This United States drafted document received 12 votes in favour including Russia, China and South Africa sitting on the fence.
