The World Health Organisation(WHO) warned Africa nations about malaria deaths in sub-Saharan Africa. They are worried that the deaths could be double this year because of the disturbances caused by the Covid19 pandemic. At this hospital in Kisumu city, Western Kenya health workers are treating malaria patients. It is not easy for the family members to bring the patients to the hospitals amid Covid19.
The major cause of malaria in Kisumu is the stagnant water and the rice fields. People suffer every 3 months from the disease. The mosquito net is used to prevent the disease and accounts for 93 per cent danger in Africa.
