Wizkid, legendary Nigerian music artist, won three awards at MAMA 2016

The 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards which was a glitz and glamour award show, took place on Saturday night in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Africa’s music artist Wizkid, copped an award for his wondrous work as a music artist, presenting him the title of “The Artist of the year.”

This Nigerian recording artist, who is now 26 years old, started to hook fame from 2010. His song, “Holla at Your Boy”, has made him successful in winning the African people’s heart.

The song, “Soweto Baby” which won the best collaboration on MAMA’s night, 2016, was produced by South African DJ Maphorisa, featuring Wizkid and DJ Bucks.

“The MAMA Legend award 2016”, has been presented to South African music legend “Hugh Masekela”.

The personality of the year award, has been awarded to South African runner and Olympic gold medallist “Caster Semenya”.

“Nigerian Patoranking” won the song of the year award for his hit song “My women, My Everything”.

The sheeny night had a Nigerian comedian AY to entertain and the performance by the American hip hop artist made everyone to enjoy, when he engrossed his devotion into it.
