Karina Oliani, a Brazilian wildlife physician and video producer, has set a Guinness World Record for the world’s longest tyrolean traverse over a lava lake, measuring 100.58 meters. Karina traversed over the 1187 °C volcanic lava lake named Erta Ale in Afar, Ethiopia.
It takes utmost courage to make such records which are both fascinating and scary. To celebrate the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021, they posted on such a record Karina Oliani. This post has shown the confidence and courage to encounter this adventurer, hailing from Brazil, used a rope to traverse over volcanic lava lake Erta Ale in Ethiopia.

Karina crossed a complete distance of 100,58 m (329 ft 11.76 in), achieving the world’s longest tyrolean traverse over a lava lake. She achieved this feat in appreciation for nature’s extremes and therefore the environment’s beauty.”
