Guinea’s New Centre for to fight Ebola

In order to protect the West African nations against a new comeback of the Ebola virus almost three years after the epidemic broke out, Guinea launched a new infectious disease centre. The new French-funded Institute called Pasteur in Conakry is all set to conduct researches, train scientists and test for some of the world’s deadliest diseases. The list of diseases include Lassa fever, yellow fever and Rift Valley fever, all of which threaten Guinea’s population. France has decided to contribute help in this issue as Guinea was formerly a French colony.
