Local To Global: African Women in Forbes

Today stay tuned with us for the 6th GC Talks: Livestream! Entitled “Local To Global: African Women in Forbes”, Monday at 6 pm (Cairo Time)/ GMT+2.

In Global Citizen Talks, we try to give young people a chance to meet influential leaders and from all over the world, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Our upcoming guest will be Mrs Barbara Ndugbu, CEO/Director,  Oven Secret limited, she was included in the Forbes list, In 2020 The Guardian included her on their list of 100 most inspiring women in Nigeria.

We have a very exciting upcoming episode with our guest who has a very unique mixture. Barbara has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Anambra State University and an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University. She learnt cake design in London, In 2015 Okereke started her own cake-baking business in Port Harcourt. She has created over a thousand cake designs, and trained over has five hundred students physically and online.

GCTalks is organized by the African Youth Bureau in the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports. In partnership with Africa Asia Youth Foundation and Nasser Youth Movement one of the recommendations of Nasser Leadership Fellowship – Batch 1.

Our host will be Mrs Amira Sayed, Senior Journalist at The Egyptian Gazette newspaper, the first English-language daily in the Middle East and Egypt’s Representative at World Youth Parliament for Water. She has covered many international events inside and outside of Egypt.
