Simone Biles, reigning gymnastics champion, revealed that her shock dropping out from the women’s gymnastics team final at the Tokyo Olympics was caused by “mental health concerns.”
The 24 year old American, who is largely regarded as the best gymnast ever to compete in all six games events, including a defense of her whole crown, was expected to take place on Thursday, followed by four apparatus finals next week.
