Gozem, a leading West African digital platform and a fast-growing Togolese company, focused on mobility and fintech solutions, has managed to attain $30 million through a fundraising initiative to drive Togo’s startup financing to a top 5 ranking in Africa in the first quarter of 2025.
A joint investment effort by SAS Shipping Agencies Services Sàrl and Al Mada Ventures, comprising equity and debt financing.
Gozem was launched in Togo in 2018 as a ride-hailing service; it has since expanded into a multi-service platform across Benin, Gabon, and Cameroon.
With the funding, Gozem plans to expand its vehicle fleet for taxi drivers and expedite the rollout of its Gozem Money digital banking platform.
