As part of its golden jubilee celebrations, the Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) has highlighted the importance of stakeholder engagement and transparency in the management of the Tourism Development Fund.
The Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) is calling for improved collaboration between the government and private sector to drive sustainable growth in the tourism and hospitality industry.
According to GHA President Dr. Edward Ackah Nyamike Jnr., the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture’s failure to convene the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) forum, as mandated by law, is a major concern.
Additionally, the association is dissatisfied with the lack of transparency in managing the Tourism Development Fund, which is financed by industry levies.
The GHA is advocating for greater stakeholder engagement and transparency to support the sector’s growth.
