On May 1, 2025, Health Minister Mustafa Ferjani launched the 24th International Pharmacy Forum in Tunis, themed “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Pharmaceutical Sector.” The event attracted over 3,000 professionals from 30 countries.
This forum aligns with the national goal of enhancing pharmaceutical sovereignty and supporting the President’s vision for self-sufficiency and South-South cooperation, positioning Tunisia as a leader in pharmaceutical innovation in Africa.
The Minister highlighted efforts to update pharmaceutical regulations, boost the national industry, and integrate artificial intelligence for improved governance and consistent medication supply. He also toured exhibition stands showcasing the latest innovations in the pharmaceutical field.
