Greenpeace Supports Congo’s Protected Area, Urges Government to Listen to Locals

The announcement by Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi that Kivu to Kinshasa Green Corridor Reserve is now a protected area has received mixed reactions. While the local people cited the failure of the government to consult them, Greenpeace International has praised the decision and pledged support for the project. The project aims to fight climate challenges and enhance green climate.
