Morocco is set to roll out a new support program targeting Very Small Enterprises (VSEs), announced Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills. Speaking at the Forum de la Très Petite, Petite et Moyenne Entreprise (TPME) in Casablanca, Sekkouri said the initiative will aid 110,000 VSEs with costs such as rent, equipment, and accounting. He called for streamlined administrative processes and better financing, involving banks and revised state guarantee schemes. The program is aligned with upcoming reforms to the Labour Code and a restructuring of ANAPEC, the national employment agency.
