South Sudan Introduces New Tax Regime

Significant transformations have come to the South Sudanese business community following the assent into law of a new financial act in November 2024. The new act became effective among the Sudanese people after the country’s revenue authority issued a circular about the operationality of the act on November 27th, 2024.

Meanwhile, the act came with changes to corporate tax, withholding tax, excise tax, and customs duties, among other taxes.  To offer credible advice and education on the new act to South Sudanese, KPMG has opened its doors to the general public.
