Travelling from Serengeti in Tanzania a heart of wildebeest crosses the sandy river into the Masai Mara game reserve in Kenya. It is one of the top reserves in the world. But this year only few tourists are able to visit there. The Covid19 pandemic has destroyed the tourists’ business for this time. Many tourist guides haven’t worked for the last four months.
One of them says at this they were booked, the hotels and lodges also. Out of 200 hotels only few are open and is a very big loss for them, already 3 quarters of staff have lost their jobs. The Covid19 pandemic has already cost $800m lost in tourism revenue.
