FICCI organized an interactive session on the emerging business opportunities in South Africa. The interaction was headed by H.E Mr. Ben Joubert, Deputy High Commissioner of South Africa to India. This session was attended by participants from different sectors such as banking, agriculture, geology and mining, transport, various corporate houses and interested investors from India. The primary motif behind this session was to promote South Africa as a business destination.
The session was initiated with the welcome remarks by Ms. Sheila Sudhakaran, Advisor- Africa Division, FICCI. H.E Mr. Recado Andrew, Minister Counsellor- Economic, High Commission of South Africa to India, through his presentation, gave insights of the investment and business opportunities waiting to be explored in different economic sectors and the incentives offered by the South African government to promote and prepare a favorable business climate. H.E Mr. Joubert and H.E Mr. Andrew actively and enthusiastically answered the queries of the participants.
The session was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Susnato Sen, Sr Director-Africa Division, FICCI.
