The 72nd Republic Day of India was celebrated at HCI Abuja and OHCI Lagos. Many representatives were present to witness this proud moment including The president of the Senate- Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria, Defense Headquarters Nigeria, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Nigeria, President Indian Cultural Association, Abuja.
This was started with the unfurling of the national flag of India. The President addressed the nation and felt proud with the patriotic songs. He said “On this special occasion, let us make a promise to our motherland that we will do all we can to enrich and preserve our heritage and our national ethos. Wishing you all a very Happy Republic Day 2021!”.
