Following restitution for victimised assaults charged by the Government in Khartoum, President Donald Trump said that the United States would withdraw Sudan from its list of state sponsors. In a Twitter post on Monday Sudan, Trump, who is seeking reelection next month, said he planned to pay $335 million to “American victims and families of violence.”
He wrote on Twitter that “GREAT news! The new government of Sudan, which is making great progress, agreed to pay $335 MILLION to U.S. terror victims and families. Once deposited, I will lift Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list. At long last, JUSTICE for the American people and a BIG step for Sudan!”
