Nigerian Traders in Ghana Write Govt, Demand Immediate Evacuation

Nigerian Traders in Ghana who are under the Nigerian Union of Traders Association in Ghana (NUTAG) presented a letter headed ‘Save-our-Soul (SoS)’ to the Federal Government of Nigeria. It was presented yesterday. They demanded immediate evacuation from Ghana. The shops of Nigeria traders in Ghana had been closed for almost a year. This is done so to retaliate against the decision of the Nigerian Government to close its land borders to prevent smuggling. 

This delegation led by Dr. Ken Ukoaha the President of National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS), along with the president of NUTAG and other members of the association. Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in Abuja. Their request like others is to ensure a peaceful evacuation of Nigerians in Ghana back to their motherland.
