UNICEF will deliver coronavirus vaccines to poor nations in 2021. The organisation will work with over 350 airlines and companies to deliver nearly 2 billion COVID-19 vaccines to developing countries by 2021. Nearly 2 billion doses of vaccines will be shipped to countries next year. This operation is called a “mammoth operation”.
The U.N. children’s agency UNICEF said that the world leaders vowed to distribute equal no. of vaccines. It happened on Monday. UNICEF said it will ship 1 billion syringes to poor countries. Countries including Afghanistan, Burundi and Yemen as part of COVAX. This is a global COVID-19 vaccine allocation plan with the World Health Organization (WHO).
