More than 100 million euros drugs like cocaine, cannabin have been seized during a drug bust in Africa and the Middle East country. It was during March and April as said by the Interpol on Monday. Interpol worked with police officials from about 41 countries and made an arrest of about 287 people during the bust.
According to authorities, in Niger warehouses seized 17 tonnes of cannabis , worth around 31 million euros ($37 million). The drugs actually had to be transported to Libya and it was the largest drug bust in the history of West Africa. Also in South Africa, police seized 973 cocaine bricks of about 32 million euros from a fishing boat and arrested 10 people in that bust. Africa has recorded many drug busts in recent years and is seen as a transit route for illegal drugs from South America to Europe.
