One of the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped in Nigeria has been found in Pulka in northern Borno state with a 10 month-old baby son, the military reported. This helpless girl was discovered by soldiers while screening escapees from Boko Haram’s base in the Sambisa forest.
The revelation about this girl came nearly a month after another 21 Chibok girls were freed after negotiations with Boko Haram Islamist militants. In April 2014, more than 270 schoolgirls were seized from the north-eastern town which called for immense international outrage. The Boko Haram has been fighting a revolt in its quest for an Islamic state in northern Nigeria. The conflicts created by them is estimated to have killed more than 30,000 people.
