The suspense is at its height presently regarding who will be the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2016. The five nominees for the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2016 will be announced and the voting will open on Saturday. The names will be announced in a live show on BBC World TV and BBC World Service radio beginning at 8:00 GMT. African football fans all around the globe will be able to vote through the BBC African football website from 18:50.
The voting will close at 18:00 on Monday, 28 November and the results will be announced live on Focus on Africa TV and radio on Monday 12 December at 17:35. Former African internationals and football experts will be in the panel and they will be attending the special show on Saturday. The show will be hosted by Peter Okwoche and it will include an interview with a former winner of the award.
