The Rwandan National Police (RNP) offers an online forum to help people on late departure and arrival flights facilitate their movements during the last hours of the curfew, following the reopening of their country to international air travel. Applicants are assisted in acquiring a clearing pass for their passenger, driver and vehicle using the online portal www.mc.gov.rw or the Feature Codes * 127 #. The applicant must fill in their complete information, telephone number, vehicle plate numbers, and the timeline, irrespective of whether it is applying via www.mc.gov.rw or the Unstructured Supplementary Specific Service (USSD) details (* 127 #).

Mr CP Kabera stated that those who arrive, their requests will be handled by hotels where they are staying, except in cases where a person needs to leave the facility where he or she is staying, either to their homes or for other emergencies beyond the shutdown time; the pass is used individually.
