The federal government said that the COVID vaccines will not be given to States that still have to meet the condition. The COVID-19 vaccine will be opened on Saturday, according to sources, by President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.

Governors and their representatives will also be officially receiving COVID19 vaccine on 10 March. This was communicated to the State House correspondents by Faisal Shuaib, Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency. This took place during the second weekly briefing of the State House. The public will be vaccinated by Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 following Friday vaccinations for certain health professionals.

He also stated that, on the same day, he will receive the first dose of the vaccine from the Chairman of the COVID-19 (PTF) Presidential Task Group and Secretary of the Federal Government.
