The South Africa government has decided to close public schools again for a month from Monday as the coronavirus surges as said by President Ramaphosa. Teachers and Union staff have concerns and call the government to reopen schools for certain grade students. Schools will be closed from 27 July and are scheduled to reopen on August 24.

President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Thursday that the cabinet ministers have decided that all public schools should take a break for the next four weeks and also the academic year will be extended instead of ending in December.
